Say it the way you’d tell a friend
No need to search for each food or weigh anything. Say the meal as you’d describe it, and Yumizo works out the rest:
- “Two eggs and toast with butter.”
- “A bowl of oatmeal with a banana and a spoon of peanut butter.”
- “A chicken burrito bowl with rice, black beans and guacamole.”
Two ways to listen
Yumizo has two voice options, in Me › Application › Voice logging. With Your phone, the default, your phone’s own speech recognition writes the words down as you talk, in your phone’s language. With Smart listening, your voice is streamed to our AI service as you speak, which helps with mixed languages and tricky dish names. Either way, you see the meal before anything is saved.
Nothing you say goes to our AI service until you allow AI processing in the app, and we don’t keep voice recordings.
When talking isn’t easy
In a quiet office or on a loud train, snap a photo of your plate or scan a barcode instead. Every way of logging ends in the same diary in Yumizo, the food tracker with a pet.

- Yumizo is free to download and start. A voice log is one of the free plan’s 2 AI logs a day, the same as a meal photo. Barcode scanning and food search are unlimited for everyday use.
- Who hears my voice?
- With Your phone, the default, your phone’s own speech recognition from Apple or Google turns your voice into words. With Smart listening, your voice is streamed to our AI service provider, and only after you allow AI processing. We don’t keep voice recordings.
